Tube Fabrication Services
At H & H Tube, we specialize in the fabrication of custom tubular products for the automotive, medical, HVAC, and other manufacturing industries. Our capabilities include the production of complex, small-diameter tubing and components that require a high degree of precision. Premium quality aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, and mild steel tubing is produced using precisely engineered cutting, forming, machining, bending, and brazing methods that have been developed throughout our expansive 80 plus year history.
Traditional forming as well as hydroforming methods are used to produce tubing to the desired shape. In the traditional tube forming process, tubing is bent around a radius using mechanical force with subsequent operations to complete a part. In hydroforming, a mold is produced to the desired tubing geometry, and the raw tubing is pre-bent to roughly fit the mold. Once placed in the hydroforming press, the pressurized fluid forces the tubing to precisely fit the mold. This process provides the capability of creating complex parts, including cross-section changes and multiple bends, in a single operation. After discussing the specific project parameters, the optimal forming method can be chosen depending on the part geometry and production volume.
We fabricate custom tubing based on specific customer requirements. Each design is reviewed for specific capabilities. With a redraw mill located in-house, custom sized tubing can be manufactured with quick turnaround and at the lowest cost possible while maintaining the highest level of quality. The lead time on custom fabricated tubing averages 6 – 8 weeks. For additional information about our custom tube fabrication capabilities, see the table below, or contact us directly.
